well, seeing that i can't fathom how anyone could consider The Ladder a bad Yes album, and that 90125 isn't bad, just different., it's between BG, Onion and Talk.
I hate onions

Yeah. 90125 was still artistic, just not my taste.

Union, I was never able to listen to the whole thing and that says
something. I even sold back the album. Luckily, I bout it used
and it was only two dollars, but even then, it seems too much.

I do not know what you want from Drama...
ok vocals are funny but songs and arrangements are tremendous
for me drama is better than tormato and going for the one (i like that
albums but there are bugs on them .bugs which are more stupid in
comparison to ones on drama f.e don't kill the whale or arriving ufo)
machine messiah is fantastic, one of my favourite yes songs
in to the lens and tempus are fantastic, vital, full of energy and well composed
guitras from howe and keyboards from downes who is one my favourite musicians
Squire plays one of his best parts on this album...
the worst albums are 90125 and big generator because they started this mess
even Asia albums (Asia nad Alpha) are more "Yes" than 90125.

History recalls how great the fall can be
While everybody is sleeping, the boats put out to sea
Borne on the wings of time
It seemed the answers were so easy to find..

Yes has been my favorite band since the 70's...I have bought ALL their albums and I firmly believe 'union' is not that bad, 'Lift me up', 'The more we live', 'Silent talking' and 'Miracle of life' are all decent tracks I DEFY anyone to find that many good songs on 'Open your eyes'!!! That EASILY gets my vote as the worst Yes album, but it is not in the list!

this list/poll is totally useless and utterly moronic.
90125, BIG GEN., TALK & THE LADDER were
albums that helped YES in moving on and charting
new territory in their music and – let's face it –
assuming that none of YES's musicians had not
blurted out how much they hated it and what a mess
the whole thing was, UNION might have received
reviews like "a bold step forward by this seminal
band to attain a new sound and dusting off many of
its traits" – my vote would clearly go to the hideously
overrated TALES FROM THE BOTTOM OF A
TOPOGRAPHIC SEWER, or whatever it was called,
which did the band no favours whatsover and, at
least in my book, was the first great pitfall of which
they would never quite recover afterwards... so, let's
stop all the snobbishness towards latterday-YES
and appreciate it for what it was. everybody is entitled
to have a legacy or even historical value but this
must not be the only measurement to be
considered.
