Ultravox, one of my fave bands , seen them live as well, is deserving of being in PA , IMHO.  The John Foxx era is quite brilliant, Systems of Romance is a fascinating and original take on gothic/punky progressive etc...with some sizzling songs , namely Dislocation, Maximum Acceleration and Just for a Moment. Foxx solo is a genius.
Midge came in and kept the VOX going with the superb Vienna.
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

I loved Vienna. Discovered it when my favorite post-prog artist Gary Numan touted them. At the time he was talking about the John Foxx Ultravox but I didn't know that so I got their latest at the time which was Vienna. It was revolutionary to me. Then I heard about the John Foxx version and got Systems of Romance and 3 into 1. It took a while, but eventually I came to love Systems even more than Vienna. The first 2 were a lot rougher but had some great moments. Rage was a bit disappointing and it seemed to go down from there. Then Foxx's Metamatic blew me away all over again.

So Systems of Romance.
