But Echo &Bunnymen did Ocean Rain that year, Iron Maiden- Power slave, Cocteau twins-Treasure, XTC-Big Express

Powerslave is in the other 1984 poll(didn't you vote for it?)

Don't care much for the others you mention here. Embarrassed

^Yes..I did vote Iron Maiden in the other poll....but I'm not a big fan of hard loud prog rock /metal prog stuff tbh....but there are a few Maiden lp's that I like.
Always was a fan of Echo and Cocteau Twins and  big fan of XTC...imho one of the greatest 'pop/rock' bands ever.

When I think of 1984 I think of "Robot Woman 2" by Mother Gong, "This is Hawkwind - Do Not Panic" and "The Earth Ritual Preview" by Hawkwind, "Orgelspiele" (the debut of Barbara Dennerlein), "Meetings with Men-Machines" by Amon Düül UK, "Zack Glück" by Embryo, "Three of a Perfect Pair" by King Crimson, the very underrated "Merci" by Magma, "Pure Fantasy" by Paraphernalia and "Poland" by Tangerine Dream.

Between Rush, Roger Waters, Twelfth Night, Yngwie Malmsteen and Camel I will choose Roger Waters today... Nice list again!

Sorry Cristi. It's a good poll from you, as usual, but these albums leave me cold. My apologies.
