Does anybody else's hometown have any weird festivals? I live in a huge Dutch area so we have Tulip Time every May. It's a little bit stupid, but we got mentioned on The Simpsons because of it.




The windmill we had imported from The Netherlands.

This is our governor marching in one of many parades we have in this one week period.

When I used to live in Southern California, we had something called the Strawberry Festival. It was really lame but as a kid I just reveled in it. It's strange that we lived in Orange County, but it was called the Strawberry Festival. I don't recall strawberries ever really coming from down there.
