Both have developed a style of their own, with ukique taste in their own way of making their mark in movies. Both are known for making films that are wierd in a wierd way, ambitious, perhaps a litle dumb. Yet i am entertained by their movies, even entrigued. M Night perhaps have higher hights with Umbreakable and the Sixt Sense, but few ction movies are as game changing as Indipendance Day. And Stargate has become a cult classic. Some of their movies work some of their movies stunk. So who of these naughty yet rebellious film creators are you mostly enjoying..

Can't say I'm much of a fan of either director.....though 'Stargate' with Spader and Russel is one of my guilty pleasures.

I liked the Sixth Sense, but one film doesn't make a great director. I'll pass as well.

I've been waiting for the Emmerich Stargate reboot for a couple of years now. Last I heard, it's been "stalled." It was supposed to be a trilogy and they're avoiding tying it in with Stargate SG-1.

I find it funny and cool that a simple and mysterious movie as Stargate has spawned three full fledged, series of a franchise of three different yet similar multi seasonal series. Richard Dean Anderson is thanks to it known for more then playing McGyver
