On this week's PRN (#32):

The Nice, Kamelot, Nektar, Wishbone Ash, Anthriel, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Anthony Phillips, Adrian Belew, KRAKOW, Sub Swara, Some unlikely Prog Fusion from Elton John. Ind bands Meta, Frontecielo, and new Ind music from Fervent Send, relatively new from Residuos Mentales, and TOUCH Official, and... that song by Book of Fears that sounds an awful lot like Hawkwind's "We Took the Wrong Step Years Ago" WinkWink .... I think that's it, Shocked

Saturday 8-10pm MT and Sunday 3-5am MT at lccommunityradio.org/stream Repeated again next week on CapitalRockRadio.com Friday 4-6pm MT and Saturday 4-6am MT (check schedule as times may change due to Australian DST/US DST).

On this week's Prog Rock Nation , I pay homage to Tony Stratton-Smith, the founder of Charisma Records (The Famous Charisma Label), on the 36th anniversary of his passing. Tony was before his time, supporting artists in their creativity, despite financial losses. Genesis, Van der Graaf Generator, Rare Bird, Monty Python, Lindisfarne, Alan Parsons Project, Julian Lennon, are just some of the artists on the Charisma label. Join me on what I've turned into an annual event, the 3rd annual Strat show on 101.5 FM, Las Cruces, or Radio Que Tal Saturday 8-9pm US-MDT or Sunday 3-4am MDT.
And don't forget, Prog Rock Nation past shows are available on demand on
Mixcloud

I am taking a year or two off from producing my weekly radio show, Prog Rock Nation, or at least taking a break, as I'll be loading the occasional show onto Mixcloud, just not a weekly radio show anymore, for awhile.

On this week's PRN (Prog Rock Nation), the last PRN that is going to be broadcast on KTAL-LP 101.5 FM (Las Cruces) or their online stream at lccommunityradio - at least for awhile, a long while... is going to be broadcast tomorrow (Saturday) at 8pm US-MT and Sunday at 3am US-MT.
On this show: New Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate, and new Flower Kings, plus Caravan, White Willow, Jethro Tull, The Beatles, and Yes.

Don't forget that PRN will still be available at Mixcloud. I'll be uploading as many of my previous Halloween shows as I can find before Halloween. Smile And after Halloween (maybe before?) I will start loading the oldest shows- as far back as I can find - one by one - leaving each one on mixcloud for several weeks. Hopefully starting with show #1 (we are now on show #179). I can only have 10 loaded at a time, so they'll be rolling out slowly. And, I also plan on doing new shows.
PRN isn't over, it's just taking a breath of fresh air, and not ON the air (but for the occasional specialty show aired on KTAL). So new shows will be posted on Mixcloud monthly or bi-monthly, if all goes right. This will include music from my library, as well as new releases as they are sent to me, along with, of course, independent artists. And don't forget the all independent progressive rock podcast, Progkast, on Soundcloud and on Facebook.

Another Prog Rock Nation will be released pretty soon, later this month probably. PRN has become a sporadic thing, but it continues as I receive more new music... so it's becoming more of a new music showcase. Probably try to release a new one every two months? We'll see...

Meanwhile, Progkast, the all independent Prog Rock podcast, is being produced twice monthly. On the 1st of the month, and the 15th. Each episode is now 30 mins. The latest Progkast, # 50 can be viewed/heard on youtube, here. Progkast can also, of course, be heard on almost all podcast distributors, such as Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, PlayerFM, TuneIn, TuneCore and many many others.

Here's their latest album the vocalist is a very nice guy. https://psychoyogi.bandcamp.com/album/astro-therapy-brain-repair Also, do you have a place for bands to send their music for you to checkout? I wanted to send it to some prog bands in Pennsylvania. :)
