Hello from a white haired fan who would still be stuck in the 70s if it wasn't for this site. Now I have bands like Wobbler, Big Big Train, IO Earth, Karfagen, Moongarden and so many more to discover. Thank you.

Welcome. I think a lot of us are a little stuck in the 70's since that was kind of the golden age of prog rock but it's fun to explore some of the other things out there. I found a lot of music through this site I had never checked out before. Some of it old, some new but it's been a fun journey. I'm sure you will find some great stuff here as well. Plus it's fun to talk music with some like minded people. Enjoy!!

welcome to the site Mike.. and oh joy...  just wait to you actually discover the really good modern stuff hahah. We are in the second golden age .. while it doesn't rival the 70's in terms of audience or impact.. what does with the way the music industry fell apart.. but what it does is rival the 70's in sheer output, creativity, and eclecticism.. if not actually topping the 70's in thes sheer variety of flavors of music bands are doing.
