Topic: MUSE - Amazing band Posted: September 05 2005 at 09:55 |
I've recently been introduced to Muse. From my point of view they are a brilliant band, a progressive band for the 21st century.
Since Radiohead has a space in this site, I think that Muse should have one as well.
What's your opinion?

Good band. I haven't heard their most recent album but I've got the one before that and IMO it's not prog. Having said that it's just as prog as some other bands recently added so on that basis Muse probably could be added as well.

They're an excellent band, IMO. I prefer Radiohead to them, though, but I enjoy some of their material.

I have followed them for a few years now. I think they are a great band. I don't agree that their sound has been stolen from Radiohead. However, I will throw a "curved ball" and say that Dream Theater's "Panic Attack" from "Octavarium" sounds very much like Muse to me. I could swear that James La Brie is trying to do a "Mathew Bellamy" vocally - but Mathew is a far better vocalist in my opinion. I would not object to seeing "Muse" added to the Archives.
