Is that album the first New Age album? (1976) I find the music highly creative and out of this world! It is easily Jon Anderson's best moment, and sounds like music coming straight from Heaven.

Depends on how you'd define New Age, but I'd say no.  Certainly there were other synth-only types that preceded Anderson.

A very interesting album, nonetheless.  Pretty hippy-dippy, though!

I wouldn't call it "New Age", but it is certainly an excellent album and in my opinion by far the best solo-effort of Jon Anderson.

That's the reason I LOVE the album!

 

pretty hippy, dreamy, and fantasy-like album from a Genius mind (or a lot of dope)

Some consider Tubular Bells to be the first new age album...or maybe
some of Tangerine Dream's stuff? I consider TD to be ambient myself,
New Age having some pretty horrible associations...
