I'll have to agree to disagree there, Ivan - I simply cannot understand why you do not find the first 2 Queen albums to be prog! Simply listen to "The Fairy King" on Queen I and "Seven Seas of Rhye" on Queen II - both fine prog tracks. |
It's only a matter of taste and subjective apreciation of the music Certif1ed, I can listen all Queen albums 100 times and I'm sure I wont have a radical variation of my opinion. I believe they are a great band, love most of their albums (Until they started to use synths) but I will never find great prog' orientation.
You can listen Magicians Birthday and Demons and Wizards also 100 times (You never mention Look at Yourself ), and will never find them anything more than remotely prog'.
But that's Ok, we're here to agree and most of times to disagree, that's the main reason why I'm in this forum, to exchange opinions with persons that don't always think like me, if this wasn't so, life would be very boring.
