   of course im new why else would i be posting here...

I just started listening to prog a few months ago and I just can't get
enough, here are some of the prog bands I listen to (if they're not all
prog let me know...) Dream Theater, Angra, Arena, Ayreon, ELP, Eloy,
Fates Warning, The Flower Kings, Genesis, IQ, Kamelot, Madsword,
Marillion, The Mars Volta, Opeth, Pain Of Salvation, Pink Floyd,
Porcupine Tree, Psychotic Waltz, Queensryche, Radiohead, Rush, Shadow
Gallery, Spock's Beard, Symphony X, Transatlantic, U.K., Yes. If
there's a great band that im not listening to let me know.

Life is really busy right now so I won't be posting alot but it should be fun anyways...

	Hi and welcome, you have some good choices there. You are off to a great start! Maybe you should try to listen to some Canterbury bands (Gong, caravan, Soft Machine, etc....), I dont know if youll like it, but it is definitely worth a try
