The Download came out today to pre-orders and the CD is released to pre-orders on Friday the 13th according to

Band:
Pete Trewavas - Guitar / Vox / Bass / Keys / Programming / Orchestration
Eric Blackwood - Lead Vox / Lead Guitar / Synth Guitar
Henry Rogers - Drums
Wendy Darling Pastore - Backing Vocals

About 200 threads on Facebook saying it blows the prevous album away. Henry's drums are supposed to be amazing.

Mixed by Steve Hackett/King Crimson Lead vocalist/guitarist Jakko as well as Arena's John Mitchell.

Looking forward to this one...

Great news

While waiting for a Customer time to do a Album review-

OK I have only listened to the first 11 tracks on the new Edison's Children album The Final Breath Before November With Eric Blackwood and Pete Trewavas (Pete fromMarillion) and this album so far is pretty amazing. The Album will be available Friday the 13TH . If you are an old school progressive rock type this is your quintessential must have. It has hints of many groups Yes,Genesis, ELP, and a few others. They are only hints as this album is very original and has many layers of music going on. From what I can tell and heard it took many man hours of recording and mixing to produce this Album and from a consumer point of view it's well worth it. It has almost twice as much music on it than the average CD which makes it and absolute bargain. I say it's a bargain because most groups that produce CD's that have only 1 or 2 songs that might be good- this one so far has 11 great/awesome tracks and I still have 6 to listen to.
There is so much crap for music these days that is all main stream ADD music(attention deficit disorder). What I mean by that is people have forgotten or can not listen to anything more than 3.5 minutes and want to go to the next song. I know so many people that have and IPOD full of songs not Music - there is a difference.
Back to the Album- I cannot wait till tonight to finish the Album and enjoy it to its fullest degree- like Misplaced Childhood- -A Passion Play-The Wall-A Farwell to Kings-
 — This is going to be a hard album to top

You mentioned misplaced childhood. Misplaced was 41 minutes long. the new edison's children cd is 79. just 3 minutes shy of double that length.

Can't wait, big fan of Henry Rogers, the next great rock drummer ! Check out his work with Deeexpus, Final Conflict, Shineback  and Touchstone.
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

I've seen some amazing reviews on this already and even with those, it doesn't quite reach it. This is ridiculous. On first listen it is something really special. By the 5th listen this is one of the best i've ever listened to. No wonder people on facebook are freaking out over this

I agree with kenmartree... it is very dark... it's an album about halloween i take it. how could it not be very dark?

That guy Gorilla Munch said it best. This band has created it's own genre... Haunting Prog
