Symphony Novel - Progressive Band from India

Its great to finally be on PA. Had been searching a lot for a platform filled with progressive music and discovered PA. 

Greetings from Symphony Novel ,

We are a progressive , post rock , experimental band from Mumbai , India. My name is Rachit Sachdeva and i am the founder / lead guitarist of the band. We are a five piece band with Gauri Aayeer on Vocals , me and Vivek Khati on guitars , Jerson Anthony on bass , Virendra Kaith on drums. I started this project in early 2012 . Its been a brilliant journey since . Our songs are a unique blend of progressive , post rock , experimental music with stylistic combination of Indian classical and western vocals textured over them.

We released our debut album ARIA digitally worldwide via CDbaby on the 5th September 2013. The album has a total of six tracks and you will definitely see that we have left no stone unturned and given our best for this strong debut album. 

We were very fortunate to receive a mail from Mark Johnson from Sea of Tranquility - The Web Destination for Progressive Music . He was very happy to have received our CD and after reviewing the entire album this is what he had to say:-

We also released the Official Music Video of our first song CHANT. Our very good friend and a very talented sketching artist Cyriac Varghese created the Symphony Novel Logo and the album artwork which was later digitalized by Gautam Debb. So ,we wanted to show how talented Cyriac is in this video and one can clearly see his sketches, designs, artwork. And as the name goes CHANT this song has two chants ( mantras ). The first mantra is for the Indian Goddess of music Goddess Sarasvati and the next mantra is for the Indian God Lord Shiva. And as the chants are just as prayers they are keep on getting repeated. This is what one hears in the intial part of the song. So we thought the whole theme of the video should be Cyriac painting the Symphony Novel logo on a sheet of canvas while we show his art and also perform the song. Thats about it..:)..

We have been also very fortunate that our music video is being played on Radio Rebel Independent Music , Blank TV.

1) Symphony Novel Logo :- The logo for our band Symphony Novel is designed from the mathematical symbol of infinity or rather half of the whole. Initially it was was a complete infinity symbol but then was changed into this..!!..As it is fashioned from the infinity symbol the final form is that of a photograph capturing the ever evolving , mutating nature of events..!!
