Well, the album was released a fortnight ago, and has been very well received so far. The band has posted on facebook today that the show on Sunday at the Robin 2 in Bilston is being recorded for their long-awaited (by me, at least ) first DVD. They had originally intended to put out a DVD last autumn, but it never happened, so this is indeed great news.
More info shortly...

Touchstone have launched their first ever video – a promo for the track 'Contact', which was shot in Northcott Court - a venue used in a number of Hammer House Of Horror movies which were aired on UK's ITV network back in 1980. The track is taken from the band's fourth album 'Oceans Of Time', and the date of the release of the DVD - shot during their tour supporting the album - should be announced very soon now. |

Sadly the mini tour supporting the DVD launch has been cancelled.
This from facebook today: https://www.facebook.com/touchstonemusicuk "It is with great regret that due to family circumstances outside of the band’s control, Touchstone have cancelled their Live Inside Outside DVD launch gigs in June 2014. This has been a very tough decision to make, as we have never had to cancel any gigs before, do not want to let anyone down, and after our Trinity Live show, we were really looking forward to the launch gigs. Unfortunately though, it is the only decision we could make when it involved supporting one of our band members through an unforeseen family illness. Anyone who has purchased a ticket for The Borderline gig, on Friday 20th June 2014, your ticket will be valid for the special Christmas show on Friday 12th December 2014. If anyone requires a refund because they cannot attend that date, a full refund will be processed via the original point of purchase. Similarly, if you purchased a ticket for The Robin 2 gig, on Sunday 22nd June 2014, your ticket will be valid for the special Christmas show there, on Sunday 14th December 2014. Again, if anyone requires a refund because they cannot attend that date, a full refund will be processed via the original point of purchase. For those of you who have purchased a ticket for the CRS gig at Real Time Live in Chesterfield, on Saturday 21st June 2014, we are planning to reschedule a gig with the CRS but have yet to confirm a venue, or date, so please seek a refund from the original point of purchase for those tickets, and keep an eye open for the rescheduled date and venue. Regarding the DVD, it will be released on Friday 4th July 2014 and in light of this announcement, we have also decided that the first 500 copies of the DVD will also ship with 1 of 500 Limited Edition signed copies of the Oceans EP. The EP contains a brand new song, Suffer The Little Children, plus 4 other previously unreleased tracks. It will be available to purchase exclusively through The Merch Desk. Further details will be available very soon. We are really excited to be playing at the Summer’s End festival in September, and of course our special Christmas gigs on the 12th & 14th December at The Borderline and The Robin 2, respectively. Thank you very much for your understanding and your fantastic support and we are really looking forward to being back on stage very soon." Moo, Adam, Elkie, Hen, Rob. Don't know any more, but I wish the band well...Hoping it all sorts itself out favourably for them. Edited by yam yam - June 03 2014 at 13:11 |

The album is excellent and would have made my top ten list for last year if I hadn't been so late getting it. Summers End is now looking very enticing.
