WTF?!?!?!?!!!!
No way............................. I just about love everything he's been involved with. From Gong to his solo efforts, Kevin was a true original when it comes down to guitar playing. Casual, laid back, oddly cling clangy at times, but somehow I always know when he's playing - he was that distinctive. A little fave from yours truly: I hope you're jamming with Jimi somewhere Kevin. Thanks for the music.

A great loss, I love his solo albums. A giant of prog.
And why can't I see anything about this on the BBC web site? Edited by chopper - February 20 2013 at 09:47 |

Here's a favorite of mine, a complex orchestrated piece, recorded live for the BBC. David Bedford, who was in his band at the time, did many orchestrations for Kevin's songs in his early solo career.

Maybe because BBC doesn't care about prog music any-more...?(Apart from a couple of Top Gear hosts that is...)
