Rick Huxley died from emphysema. One of the possible causes of the disease is that Rick was a heavy smoker. If you don't know who the Dave Clarke Five are, they were an important british invasion band that has been forgotten by many and was overshadowed by The Beatles, The Stones and The Who. May he rest in peace.

I never thought I'd see a thread on the Dave Clark Five here! It's hard to believe that, at one point, the so-called "Tottenham" sound of the DCF had supposedly ousted the Liverpool sound of The Beatles et al. "Glad All Over" is a good song,

Probably one of the british invasion bands to have an organ and a saxophone. So, they mixed instruments with ease.
