Violinist Steve Kindler should be known to fans of the Mahavishnu Orchestra as he toured with the band back in the 70's and played on "visions of an Emerald Beyond". Later, he played with Jan Hammer and Jeff Beck during the heyday of their solo careers. Three different violinist played alongside John McLaughlin back then. Steve is undoubtedly the least known of the three.
Maybe because Steve is from Portland, OR where I live, I have a special interest in him, but its also because his solo album "Paradise Lost" is a magnificent and epic spacy violin journey. Few albums I have ever owned can take me to the outer edges like this one. Great for falling into a blissful sleep to....:)
And so........I noticed that he is not listed as an artist here. Here is a link to a bio -

but I can't dig up much in the way of music I can listen to. Is anyone else a fan of Steve and maybe knows more of his work? I'm interested in particular in more solo albums like "Paradise Lost"......and does anyone else think he deserves listing here?
And Spotify does have "Portal of Hunab-ku" which is a good intro to the music of "paradise Lost". This is spacy, psychedelic electric violin - I wish there was more music like this out there..
