 Topic: A quick reply feature?

Hello everyone.  I am kind of new to this forum. In other forums I have been, quoting people and replying is really easy. You can just click and drag the user's post and quote it on the same page (In the bottom there is a quick reply feature) Here also, there is quick reply. BUT, i am unable to quote multiple users in the same post which makes me have to post individually to reply to each of the comments I get in a particular thread. Can this issue be sorted out if possible? Quoting multiple people in the Quick Reply feature makes it much faster and saves a lot of time.

^ You can quote->copy->paste, no? Doing so does not take that much effort.

The problem is that if there are multiple posts in one page and I want to quote multiple users in the same post, i have to click on quote. But that leads me to a new page where I can get to quote only the latest person's quote or one selected person i highlight before I click on quote. I cant select multiple users to quote in one post.

Back in my day if we wanted to quote someone we had to write it all down on a piece of paper with a quill in our own blood, and we liked it that way!

If I want to quote multiple people here I middle click the quote button on each post to open the reply page in a new tab, and then paste them all in the quick reply box on the original page or use one to paste the others into.

I've never heard of such click and drag quoting before. I've been hanging out in the wrong forums. Maybe the NASCAR forum is more high tech. If only I gave a whoop-de-doo about NASCAR.
And I also encounter some confusion/trouble quoting multiple things in one post, so I just don't do it very often. Problem solved. Or at least avoided.

There is this football forum I am in called bayernforum.com There, you can highlight the text in any post made by an user and click quote. It would get quoted below in the Quick Reply feature. Then, if you want to quote somebody else, go to that user's post and again do the same and even that quote will be added to the quick reply feature. Hence, I got into that forum and am a part of theat forum for a l long time, I got used to that. Hence, I find this a bit difficult. That's all :-)

I know a lot of phpBB forums have similar "quick reply" software, where you can just hit "reply" or "quote" and it'll dump the quoted post in the reply box. WebWiz, as far as I know, doesn't have that, but maybe once Max updates the software in the next millenia, we'll have something similar. It can be helpful, I admit.

Yeah. The forum i am in is based on phpBB. I don't know much about the technical details but is it not possible to switch over to phpBB? It is very user friendly though I am not sure how cost effective that would be.
