Assume reasonable prices throughout. No $25 pints of some insane stout, and no $300 bottles of whisky.

Also, "Everything but gin" is a valid (the most valid, in fact) answer.

Gin, confound you!

I also quite like beer, bourbon and port.

Aww shame. I suppose it could be rice wine, but to be honest the only sake I've had was Gekkeikan sake and it almost burned my throat off. :(

Gonna go with ale/porter/etc, honourable mention to stouts and IPAs (though I resent them being lumped with wheat beer), as well as every kind of whisky.  And dark rum.  And absinthe.

Other; Isopropyl. Without it I couldn't sterilize myself when I inject my insulin.

Vodka for me. My favorite drink many years now.
After that, wine or beer. But vodka gets my vote. Smile

I have heard white wine described as dry  or sweet  but not red wine. I love red wine but neither dry nor sweet. It isn't in the description on the bottle. So  lets say I probably prefer a soft  fruity wine. Merlot possibly but not averse to a cabernet

Your categorizations of beer are rather insufficient. I prefer German pilsner, and I guess "ale, porter etc." comes closest to that.

I agree.  I love wheat beers but I'm not crazy about IPAs.  And I'm not sure what "etc." means.

(Personally, I think "beer" should have just been a single choice, and that's what I would have voted).

What category does Busch Light fall under?

I never did understand why people drink vodka. It has no flavor of its own.
