Topic: Brilliant Free 3d Atlas Tool Posted: July 21 2005 at 13:53 |
A bit nerdy but anyone out there interested in places and what they look like by satellite or have kids who need an atlas with something different, should try out this free download from Google. You need a broadband internet connection for it to work though:

I've been playing around with it for a few days and once you get used to it it is very addictive.
It has zoomable satellite photos of hundreds of cities: you can zoom in on the Statue of Liberty, map the roads of London-very,very good.
Try it. Great for the kids too.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
