I was just wondering if any one who has the digital remastered 2-disc versions of Marillion's "Script For A Jester's Tear" and "Fugazi" could answer this question.

Why does "Three Boats Down From the Candy" (a GREAT song by the way) appear on disc 2 of BOTH albums. There is no apparent difference in the two versions. It's seems like a waste of space - why not choose another track or simply leave it off one of the albums?

Got any ideas?

Thanks.

I got the same question actually. But, I never feel disturbed about this cause I enjoy the song very much. Probably the label (EMI) wants to show that the disc 2 remaster is worth buying. They might forget that most fans would buy these 2 albums remaster.

HI, THIS IS CÉSAR INCA.

Maybe it's because the 'Fufazi' version is played by another drummer, the one who fisrt replaced Mick Pointer, John Martyr. He also played on a re-recorded version of 'Market Square Heroes' - let me tell you, he's more solid than Pointer, though not an original genius, nor has the classy cleverness displayed by Mosley from 1984 onwards. But yes, those Martyr versions give these re-recorded songs a rockier foundation.

Regards.
