I have Seen 2010 at least ten times. Oh Mr Porter a lot too. And some James Bond films like Live And Let Die and Diamonda are Forever I've seen at least six times due to them always doing the rounds at the cinema in my youth. Films used to come back a lot in those days and I had a local cinema then. Due to this I've seen several Disney films quite a lot. Jungle Book mostly i think.

I've watched 2001 about a dozen times. Adaptation about five. Kill Bill 2 about the same. Billy Madison I've probably seen around fifty times.
I don't usually watch movies more than once. EDIT: Oh as a kid I watched the original Star Wars trilogy every day for a summer. I've probably seen it around 150 times or so. Edited by Equality 7-2521 - April 20 2012 at 09:09 |

I will watch "School of Rock", "The Hudsucker Proxy", "Groundhog Day", and "Best in Show" any time they are broadcast on TV. They remain funny to me no matter how many times I see them.
My all time favorite film is still "The Big Lebowski" though. Incredibly funny and endlessly quotable. I'm really not as discerning with films as I am with music. I don't dig as deep. Edited by HolyMoly - April 20 2012 at 09:21 |

Groundhog Day! Nice. I've probably seen it about 20 times. But I must have seen Rear Window nearly twice as much, it'd be the top. I've also seen a few of the Ghibli films a fair few times too |

I'd have to say that the original Star Wars movie is probably the one that I have seen the most. I saw it at the theater when it came out. Not too long after we first got cable TV it was the HBO movie of the month and I probably watched it 20 or 30 times that month. (yes kiddies there was once a time when we only had 3 national stations and 3 or 4 local stations on the TV

My God... how on Earth did we survive back then... ![]() And the people on the TV were actually professional actors back then. No "reality" in sight. |

I love Coen Bros films but for some reason never saw The Big Lebowski until a few weeks ago (I think it was because it was a re-hash of The Big Sleep that put me off.. I haven't seen their take on True Grit either) - yeah- silly mistake - it's a good film and very funny, but not as good as Fargo for me.
Before the days of VHS and DVD I had seen 2001 six times at the cinema - the first time I saw it I sat through two showings without leaving the cinema - now I have it on tape and DVD and will still watch it whenever it is broadcast on TV.
The only times I see a film more than once is when it is broadcast and there is nothing else to watch and I'm too lazy to shift my arse off the couch to go and do something else. All the films I own on VHS or DVD (apart from 2001) I've never played more than once and the only one of those (other than 2001) that I bought that I had seen before was Brazil.

I'm not a big film goer. But I suspect I have seen Alien and Aliens the most times,
Then The Life of Brian.
Spinal Tap as it used to be on every New Year as well as every other time I watched it.
