Hi, I’m a freaking newbie.

   Just found you during a search of prog album covers. Decided to ask the experts! I enjoy ELP, Gentle Giant, Bowie (i know, I know not prog...or was he?!), Fripp and Eno, Bo Hanssen, King Crimson, Bruford, as well as many, many more in this genre. I tend to like the  older stuff, as I'm over 40. 
I'm a classically trained violinist with a penchant for wild timing and extravagant chording. I play guitar a bit (went to Jazz College and took 2 years of it.) Augggh, jazz-time "Over The Rainbow" made my hand hurt. But it was a good peice of experience which opened up the world of prog to me. 
Anyone have some suggestions for some new prog that you think I might like, given my older prog choices?
