I've not listened to anything in this series, but I probably should.

^ My guess is you will like the first two volumes especially. 3 up to 6 are also very good. From vol 7 onwards (end 70s and onwards) I lost interest and I will also pass on this volume.

Hi,
Haven't been there for a while ... I think it might be time to grab some of the new things ... the last one was the concert with Lisa, which I happen to like a lot ... a lot!

As a long time fan, I bought this here the other day and can safely say that it's been worth the 6 years of waiting. Shadowlands is, of course, a Schulze release, so folks probably won't be too surprised to find looooooong drawn out electronic pieces, but I must confess that there's something about this one that feels rather new(or old for that matter) compared to most of his recent albums. Big thumbs up from this Dane

Oh and the release date was pushed from June 2012 to February 2013, so if the OP ever reads this, it might be a good idea to change the title of the thread, so as to better turn people onto some current bubbly goods

Best new Schulze album since Audentity imo. Damn this is a wonderful album, and to those of you who haven't yet tried out Schulze - this is the one. This is so melodic for a Schulze album it's uncanny. So many different changes in the music, that you'd think dear old Klaus has gone mad in his old age. He hasn't - and the beats and drums are back as well

Hey no problem Roj.
I have the feeling that the album was postponed in order to let Klaus fiddle around with it some more, and it does show. I don't think I've come across a Schulze album this orchestrated and "deliberate" before. Seems contradictory to my own tastes inside this kind of music, as I more than often prefer music of the moment and improv - yet on here there's just something that comes together. All of those ancient vids of Klaus sitting around in the studio listening to his music whilst tapping his fingers rhythmically on the mixing board, all of that is now incorporated into the music by way of percussion features.
