What are honorary collaborators and VIP members? I couldn't find definitions for their roles anywhere on the site.

I think both are just a bit of recognition for certain members who have contributed a lot in the eyes of the management, HCs are collabs and VIPs are non-collabs.

Aren't HCs usually longstanding collabs that stepped down ("retired")

I noticed that Vomps is a VIP member and I've often tried to think of whatever it is he contributed to PA, exactly, besides his own language.
I personally greatly value his mere existence. It's enlightening to say the least, and we both have a similar aversion to happiness.

I'm very good at always saying the wrong things. I should be promoted to Resident Douchebag Member

Actually I have no clue what a VIP member is, so it will be interesting to know the answer.

I came to understand that the ranking does not depend on how many posts you post, or how many reviews you write. i just came across someone with about a 1000 posts and 40 review and he is a collaborator!! I guess you have to show something else to the administrators.

Anyway, the only "privilege" I’ve noticed that the VIP members have, is that we’re allowed to vote for the album of the year – which I don’t since I know all too few of them.
