The brand new Classic Rock Presents Prog iPad and iPhone version is now available from today! You can find Prog at Apple's new Newsstand (Apple's new magazine section for iPad and iPhone). Initially this is a straight digital replica of the print mag (ie. not an interactive app) without covermounts or supplements that come with the printed version. iProg retails for £2.99, €3.99 or $4.99. To download the current issue go here: http://goo.gl/TLY22 (UK) or here http://goo.gl/RMw3s (US). Back issues will shortly be available as well.

Has anyone subscribed to this mag for their iPad? I was given an iPad for work (I'm sort of learning how to use it; I'm not the most tech savvy guy!) and learned how to subscribe , download the app, etc. not bad, three months for 12 bucks. The first issue I downloaded was the recent one focusing on 1972, Close to the Edge, etc. Now three is a new issue out and I'm wondering if it will automatically appear on my iPad bookshelf, or do I have to download it, etc. Never really used an iPad before a week ago, any advice is appreciated.

Great initiative! I hope you'll make it available for Android as well (if possible?).

I paid around £16 for an issue of the magazine here in Denmark, so if it's going to be available on tablets for a cut price, I'm in!
