Hi everyone,

I just recently stumbled on a very good new symphonic prog rock band from West Yorkshire in England called Willowglass. If you like Genesis, Camel or Anglagard or love the sound of Mellotron in your prog music then you may well really love this band. They play a very mature and sophisticated brand of symphonic prog that's complex yet very full of melody.

I am not affiliated at all with the band but when listening to the song samples on their website, I was very impressed. Great stuff!

If the above sounds good to you, check out Willowglass here; http://www.willowglass.net/discography.htm

Tell me what you guys think...

Hmm, maybe I have to say something like "Dream Theater sucks" to get a response here

DREAM THEATER ROCKS YOU

Seriously,  The sound in most of the clips reminds me of Tresspass era Genesis but keeps some originality.  I did not hear anything too dynamic but what can you tell from 30 second clips.  Overall pleasant sound with good mix of keyboards and guitar.  Liked the piano in tracks 1 and 3.  No vocals which is kind of refreshing in this style.  Will check them out some more.

"What are you going to do when that damn thing rusts?"

HEY, they are now added to the ProgArchives! Very sweet. The country of origin listed shows Scotland however and I was informed by a band member that they were from West Yorkshire England.

How can I get the counry of origin changed on the Archives?
