Alcopop (or rusbrus as we call them in norway), is a popular bewerage to those who likes sweet drinks and don't apreciate the bitterness of beer or the acidity of wine, but also a nice introduction to the world of drunkenness, in Norway it is mostly an introductio for those who try out the party life, with or without premission (i am not advocatin drinking to underaged),

but do you like, drink or have tried alcopop in your life and what is your opinion about it

do you like it

i have drinken some and i like their sweetness and also i enjoy some of the more creemy but never to much couse else Sick, but it is a nice substitute for beer, i often switch to alcopop after each 4th beer bottle to cleen of the bitterness of beer, (or with cider of corse)

this is my favourite

Nope. I rarely drink anything other than beer, red wine and whisky. Not that that is very limiting, but that's where I find the most enjoyment when it comes to alcohol.

Never drunk any alcopop in my life. I don't miss it because I like to drink alcaholic beverages pure (imho, even gin on the rocks is not done).

I drink my wine red, not diluted and not cherry-flavored.
And if I want some more "exotic" alcoholic beverages, I stick to my own housemade cocktail of tequila, vodka and whisky (drink with EXTREME moderation).

The alcopop launches was the most stupid thing the alcohol industry has ever done. Those are not my words though. Those are the words from most people in that industry. I remember when the alcopops arrived on the scene. They were marketed towards kids at 11 years old and older. In a market where the minimum alcohol age was 18 years old.

Before alcopops, the most popular under age drink was cider like White Lightening and other strong ciders. Foul tasting stuff which put a lot of teenagers of alcohol until they were past 18 years old. Alcopops had a child like taste and were marketed accordingly. Here in Scotland, we are harvesting these problems now. In every hospital and everywhere else. The alcohol industry became a bywords for "irresponsibility". The alcohol industry shot themselves and the rest of us in the foot there.

Smirnoff Ice is OK, but I really despise alcopops with a passion. A type of passion you get when you see the society collapse in the front of you.

I confess a liking for Mike's Hard Lemonade.  Guess I better turn in my man card.

I've had the coolers and hard lemonades before.  They're OK also Zima, which is I don't know what, kind of reminded me of chewable aspirin.  If I want a sweet alcoholic drink, I developed these adult slushie recipes for cosmopolitan, mai tai, and green iguana.  No trivial amounts of alcohol in them so you wouldn't want children to get a hold of one of those drinks.
