Few months ago, I discovered King Crimson. I listened to ITCOTCK and blew my mind away. Now I like every album of KC, except for ConstrucKtion of Light and Power to Believe.
What I was fascinated about Crimsonmusik was Robert Fripp's solo. His solo is just amazing, words can't describe it. The solo in the Night Watch and the Talking Drum. Does anyone have ANY ideas of what modes or scales fripp solo on? I've been trying to work it for a long time but I couldn't.

From an interview in 1974: "As a basic scale I use a diatonic major scale based on the second or the Dorian mode which enables me to play in either a major scale, by taking the root note of the scale down one, or also as a basis for minor. I also enjoy whole-tone scales."
