Topic: Flaming Youth with Phil Collins Posted: June 19 2005 at 22:39 |
Anybody ever heard there music, they have an album called Ark 2, and Phil Collins was one of the leaders of the band. He even sings an amusing song about getting high on it, in fact he sings a couple of numbers on there, I am sure those who listen to his crappy solo stuff will never know nor appreciate what Collins was like back in the day. Heard he is also a big Yes fan. He is got some memorable drumming that he would later use in early Genesis. Some other good songs on there Guide me Orion, Space Child, Pulstar, Changes, these guys rock, very haunting spacy stuff with an enchanting orchestra.....

I like this album. Much better than Genesis's debut. The song that incorporates the hymm 'From Now On' is very impressive!

We have that album. It is not too proggy, but it has some good lyrics. The line "due to lactic malnutrition at my mother's breast" is probably one of the best in rock music ever.
