Gidday Smile

Just used following URL - http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?ssubgenres=&salbumtypes=1&syears=&scountries=&sminratings=0&smaxratings=0&sminavgratings=0&smaxresults=250&x=0&y=0#list - to display top 250 prog-rock albums and noticed a mis-match between album cover and artist details Shocked

It first occured with album 35, then again (as far as I can tell from cover details) at 38, 43, 48, 49, 50 and so on until then end of the list ... confusing when one knows the cover and then checks details and they mis-match Confused

Anyway ... great stuff ... keep up the good work Clap

PS ... now, how many albums do I need to complete top 250 Cry

Hahaha ... more likely sunstroke !

Anyway ... cleared cache etc etc and restarted PC ... still getting same problem, but started from album 30 this time ... also, got the 'submit' button image appearing as an album !!!

Probably a bug with browser ... but, damnit, I like firefox.

Have not tried with any other as I have cleaned them off my PC.

Ah well ... it's not a biggy, but would be nice to know how to fix.

probably that would be a heavy load for the server to run such a query - maximum is 250 Smile
btw - I've played a bit but couldn't find any mismatch Confused using Firefox too

Gidday

Many thanks to those who responded ... I found the culprit ... Internet Download Manager ... with this program NOT running, all lists displayed correctly ... but somehow, when IDM is running, it appears to cause Firefox to throw a wobbly after 30 of so albums in the list.

True, expanding this list to 500 / 1,000 would cause some extra load on the server, but 100 entries today was processed in .45 seconds and 250 in 1.39 ... so, 500 / 1,000 would not be too much extra ... if the album art was not provided, then I can't see the problem ... server has to chew thru hundreds of entries anyway to find top 250 of them!

As to whoever said that 'prog-related' and 'proto-prog' are NOT progressive enough, well, that is your opinion, these artists and their albums are all over progarchives.com, so must be progressive enough ... anyway ... I'd still like the opportunity to include these genres in MY selection.

Cheers

You CAN make a selection that includes Proto and Related.

Bands that are added in Proto and Related aren't added for being progressive in a certain degree (if they were "progressive enough" like you say, they would be added to the full-blown prog categories), but for being relevant to the bigger picture.
