   Just thought I'd let people here know that I have some small openings now for time in my studio, after a hectic period. As I have mentioned before, Dude Ranch Studio is primarily a mix studio, and what I probably do best is shine stuff. Basically, you give me tracks, I mix and master to make stuff sound bigger and badder than it originally did, for a very reasonable amount of silver pieces. 

I've used SoundCloud to upload a couple of example tracks - two versions of a song I mixed for an upcoming album - one is the band's initial mix, which they brought to me - it had actually been professionally mixed but they didn't quite feel it was there yet.

So the other track is my mix of it, which will be on the album. Keep in mind that SoundCloud streaming audio is NOT CD audio.

It demonstrates what I can do with material I am given. Everything is of course limited to some extent by the source material - here the drums were badly recorded, for instance - but there's still a lot that can be done with almost any mix. 

So if you have an album - or some songs - that need that final shine - get in touch.
