I've been very much into Progressive Music since the early seventies and have seen most of the Bands from way back then - Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Led Zep etc.
 
I very much enjoy some of the more recently established Bands - Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Flower Kings and was hugely impressed with Transatlantic when I saw them at Shepherds Bush Empire in London in May.
 
I love Anathema, Unitopia and Mystery and am nuts about Syzygy !!!!
 
Hoping to have some great conversations and make new friends on this Forum.

Fun to see bands like Dream Theater placed in the recent department, as they have been plying their trade for more than 2 decades now *chuckles*

Glad to see that Syzygy has made an impact :-)

If symphonic prog of a more challenging variety might be of interest, I can recommend checking out another band that have come forth in the last few years: Deluge Grander.

Thanks for the welcome - when you've been a dedicated Yes Fan since '72 - The likes of Dream Theater seem like new kids on the block to me even after 20 years !!!
 
Will certainly follow your tip and take a look at Deluge Grander
