I'll need musicians after my first album!! (gigs)

   Hello everyone, i must say this is my first post, so i've been looking the forum for a while now so i decided to join.

Well, if you read this topic, maybe you need to read the whole story (Short story at the end).

Ok, i live in Mexico, trying to join a band since always to no avail, i've jammed with a few dudes etc, in the end, i decided to go soloist because i've composed a lot music now (PROG METAL) and i'd like to become professional and do this as much as i can.

So, i'm a guitar player and singer on my own project, you must know that i'm not the shredder kind of soloist that keeps playing guitar solos (Which i love, like Steve Vai), i try to compose like a band, there aren't a lot of guitar solos in my songs by the way.

Right now i'm recording my first UNSIGNED ALBUM (Indie if you want) with the help of a few collaborators (Keys and Drums) and i'll record bass, guitar and voice. I wouldn't call it a demo album because i'm doing this professionally to send it to labels, festivals, and start gigging.

So, when the time to play gigs comes, i'll be needing musicians who want to join me and play, because i'll be presenting my cd (Cover included, cd case, booklet, etc, etc) to everyone, i'll try to play in festivals around the world, i'll look for management as well so they can arrange all this kind of stuff.

I must say that i really have no experience in this field, you can consider me amateur if you like, i'm just looking for others like me or if you have some experience that should be ok.

Influences:   PROG METAL

I like Dream Theater, some people say i compose like them, i don't really think so, just prog metal, kind of melodic. 

FROM EVERYWHERE

Theorically, it won't matter where you live because, since the idea is to become professional, in the end we'll have to meet each other sooner or later, and i'm posting this ad knowing that someone here must have the same ambition/intention but can't find the musicians or right musicians on his own city.

-Age from 18 to 26

I'm 23, in a few months 24, so if you are around those ages it should be ok, there must be exceptions though.

NOTE. This is not a "gold oportunity" to become a professional musician, as i told you, right now i'm recording the tracks, it's going to take time, after that, i'll pay someone to design the booklet, then i'll have to think about the distribution material ONLY for labels, festivals and friends (Cd cases with cd/booklet included) I won't spend a lot of copies because my budget, it's just for recognition and to get a deal, i don't know, maybe 500 copies.

SPANISH IS MY FIRST LANGUAGE, i speak english as you can see (poorly), and i compose and sing in English, because my influences have been US bands since always.

If you want me to send you a myspace link for songs let me know it and i'll give you a PM, i think that would be better than posting it here because that would show real interest, but, if you are interested and just want to hear some music, let me know it too. Now, my songs right now are DEMOS, bad quality recordings, but if you are interested you will know what i play.

So that's it, i don't really know how common this can be, but we have to do all what is in our hands, see ya.
