Sorry for not including Black Sabbath era from 1989 to nowadays. Firstly, itīs pure Heavy Metal, not Prog at all. Secondly, I donīt listen these albums. I like classical Osbourne & Dio era mostly.

My vote is for dark song "Megalomania" from Sabotage.

I would have voted for War pigs, but that's not included on the list. So: Another song :)

Please read my headline and question properly. There are some elements of Prog in their music. Therefore they are in pigeonhole "Prog Related" like Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin or Deep Purple e.g.

"Metal Only Pleeeese" is for example Manowar!

Spiral Architect is my fav song from my fav album. Sabbath does pull off the use of strings and orchestration.

Yeah call it what you want, but listen to Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (the album) and tell me what type of hard rock/metal is it. That album is Prog for me.

However their most proggy song is either War Pigs, Faires Were Boots or something from Sabotage or Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. I'll go for Other being War Pigs.

Most prog? Surely it has to be "Megalomania", followed by "The writ", both from Sabotage".

Any of the choices from Sabotage fit the bill. I vote Megalomania.

Man, I love that album....

"Stonehenge! Where the demons dwell
Where the banshees live and they do live well
Stonehenge! Where a man's a man
And the children dance to the Pipes of Pan".

At least Sabbath actually used a large Stonehenge prop for its tour.

I am going with Sabbath's "Stonehenge".

I went to Spiral Architect as a result.

The Writ following it
Or, Wheels Of Confusion.
Or, it often listens to Johnny Blade.

War Pigs is an excellent song with interesting rhythm structure and anti-war lyrics. One of my BS fav. But thatīs in my opinion more Hard (or Heavy) Rock than Prog Rock. The same thing - Fairies Wear Boots.
