anybody bought and evaluated this archival set of mainly opera excerpts recorded between 1903-1911 and archived in a basement in Paris for 100 years and exhumed and transferred onto CD?
            for me, the set is fascinating, and, well, you cannot get much more historical than this
         it is a real picture of a bygone era-i love historical recordings, and the older, the better, as far as i am concerned-the real gems here are the excerpt of Beethoven's 6th Symphony and a
piece from Berlioz's opera the Damnation of Faust, and a March from Meyerbeer-but really everything is important and a delight for my ears
