Hello Yous!

I`m new at this Forum, a very great one actually (Im quite new to the Genre as well). Finally somewhere to discuss, and get new influence in the Genre.

By now I like as follows:

Symphonic prog: 70s, (I believe I can get som inputs on bands I havent heard of, concerning all sub- genres) Jetthro Tull, GG, King C, Yes.

Newer: Flower K., Spocks B., Transatlantic.

Neo: I really dont know.!

Prog metal: DT, Symphony X, Ayreon, Pagans Mind, Queensryche ( I really dont feel Q. to be that prog. Just me?)

I am truly open to new Bands! Everyone who wants to teach me , go ahead!

Like You all already!

Welcome Norwegian progger!

Some neo-prog suggestions: Discipline, Pendragon, Foxtrot (from Norway, BTW)

Symphonic Prog - Raw Material (old), The Tangent (new)

Canterbury/fusion - Caravan, National Health

Prog metal - Gordian Knot, Opeth, Cynic, Psychotic Waltz, Dead Soul Tribe

Zeuhl - Magma, Ruins, Univers Zero

Kraut - Amon Duul, Can

And Frank Zappa, of course, start with "Hot Rats" or "Apostrophe"
