hey - the term SPACE provides attraction Wink

this is really interesting music, more pointing to the widespread prog metal realm though as for my impression

"Melodic progressive metal" I've felt from your aggressive shots.

What's a "lodger"?

Fist of all, my name is Phil, I'm the guitarist of this here outfit.

Well, this A.S.S. project is absolutely new. It all started out by 2 producers hiring me to track guitars for a Video Game soundtrack, (which didn't happen after all). Well, long story short --- they dug the way the final track sounded with my guitars and decided to compose 4 more pieces --- asked me to track more guitars --- then asked me if I wanted to join their "band" --- all this began in mid October or so and here I am now!

I'm not so much into "metal" like I used to be, but these particular tracks just grew on me. I really dig 'em.

We're a quartet of drums, bass, piano and guitar --- but just the drummer, pianist and myself tracked everything. Clint, the bassist came in later.

I'm curious to get an outside opinion on what to make of these tracks. I for one, like I said, really dig how they turned out. There's a pretty big Armenian Folk influence in the music which I happen to dig (I'm Mexican); both Greg (piano) and Barrett (drums) are Armenian.

I love ethnic music, especially the odd meters and harmonic minor type stuff --- that's right up my alley!

Well, let me know your thoughts!

Cheers!
~phil
