I'm going to check this band. They don't mention any clear influence, but the links on their MySpace page may be a good indication. They seem to have rather eclectic tastes.

Definitely a worthy candidate for Prog Metal. Not sure for the punk, but the metal is very good Tongue

The punk elements are spare but are present, and believe me, they are the only moments that grab my attention. There are obvious influences from voivod and hawkwind (the first track) but the prog passages are rather boring. And the album doesn't sound really metallic.
