   Hi all! Im looking for a guitar player for an instrumental prog metal trio in the vein of planet x, meshuggah etc. Preferrably a 7 or 8 string player. Must have an excellent sense or rhythm and an understanding of odd meter and polymetrics. We are based in south London England.

	Why don't you just play clever music instead . You know. 5 Musicians entwining equally in a clever melody which is exremely catchy and long lasting. That means the guitarist will not dominate. The bassist, drummer and keyboardist wlll be just as involved with their busy playing. It would be more rewarding and it would be prog. Or do you want to be trendy and just play another form of metal with a timing or experimental element added and call it prog Edited by Progologue - November 02 2009 at 05:54
