Interesting though, I just went to the Carnegie Hall website, and it doesn't say anything about Tull for those dates, let alone any dates at all. What's the deal, Arsillus?

Hmmm, I honestly don't know. I got those dates off of Tull's website, so I assumed they were official. I looked on Ticketmaster (x100000) and they only had tickets available for MA, PA, MS and CA; they Dallas TX tickets were taken off for some reason.....
My guess is that it's so far away, it might be a few weeks before we see any other announcements from venues. It's just my speculation, but I hear ya.

Although the idea just perpetually sounds inviting to see Tull live again and relive some of those classics etc....truth be told: Ian Anderson cannot sing worth a damn anymore (and what's even worse is that HE ATTEMPTS to hit notes he knows he CAN'T reach) and last I saw them at Jones Beach NY a few years ago, his band bar Barre (if you'll pardon the pun) weren't too stellar either. Musically he's/they're(?) still alright though.
Just my 2 cents.

I've seen his last gig in Montreal. First, he cannot sing anymore. Martin Barre was ON, and that was cool. I was a bit frustrated, because they mostly played songs from Aqualung. No thick as a brick, no Minstrel, no passion play. The acoustic part was kinda cool, they played life's a long song and my god, wich was cool. I would go back, assuming they come back to Montreal, because it is still Jethro Tull!

Nice. Only wish they were in Jersey. But NY isn't that far. Already going there for a Moody Blues show.
I saw Tull before, and Anderson can still sing. Granted it's not like it was back in thier heyday, but still it's not all bad. It was an awesome show though. I only wish it was longer.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

I'm going to try to get to the Benton Harbor, MI show. That's only about an hour from where I live.
