Q: What are your top five favorite prog and related album covers (artwork not cover songs) of all time regardless of the quality of material within or era released that you'd like to share with others? Ying Yang

(btw: the first row shown are my top five favorites)

And just for fun: Who could be first one to correctly idenify all 15 album covers shown?
(the pics are intentionally low-res as not to easily disclose the cover titles) LOL

I was tempted with the Black Sabbath as well. In fact I have so many favourites it's really hard to pick a top 5.
But, in no particular order I'll offer up these.

Thank you for supporting independently produced music

I might like the last one because of the association with the music, but it matches it so well and they're both excellent. Also, I know everybody posts ITCOTCK, but it's just that good.

A series of stunning artwork which captures the English eccentricity and quaintness in the songs, like an Edwardian picture book with music.

Very strong imagery, you can visualise the sparks and lights fizzing  from inside this mysterious tepee when listening to the tracks, ancient technology joined with new.

Surreal timeless imagery using simple plastic balls on a sand dune, very difficult to set up but a stroke of  genius!

Archetypal tongue-in-cheek  psychedelia from the 60's,  a bit vulgar today but this is what was really  "in"

Classic stunning image drawn in pen and ink, no distracting colour, a very difficult medium to master.
