I should think that they are progressive enough but as Dick Heath would likely point out , there is no rock in their music. I recently purchased their fourth never-released before album! Might just be their best!

They were very much a part of the 70s UK underground/prog scene. All their albums made the top 50 (a remarkable achievement for such challenging music) and they were a regular on the festival circuit. As to whether they were 'rock'or not, they played to (mostly) rock audiences, and were a kind of precursor to the chamber rock of bands like Univers Zero.
