OK, I already did one for ELP, now one for The Flower Kings, again, imagine if they only released only 1 double-album in their entire career, which songs would they be?

Conditions: Double Album (80 minutes each)

Disc 1:
#1 I Am The Sun (15)
#2 Silent Inferno (14)
#3 Love Supreme (20)
#4 Driver's Seat (18)

Disc 2:
#1 The Flower King (10)
#2 A King's Prayer (6)
#3 Minor Giant Steps (12)
#4 Monkey Business (4)
#5 Paradox Hotel (6)
#6 Life Will Kill You (7)
#7 Timelines (8)
#8 Adam & Eve (8)
#9 The Magic Circus of Zeb (7)
#10 Scanning the Greenhouse (4)

Well, going strictly by the best songs it would be something like:
disc one:
1. Garden of Dreams
2. Driver's Seat

disc two:
1. Monsters & Men
2. Stardust we are
3. The Truth will set you free

But that wouldn't be a very balanced release, just epics. Would it ?

So I will change disc two in:

1. Monster & Men
2. The Merry go Round
3. The Judas Kiss
4. Retropolis
5. Big Puzzle
6. Go West Judas (or Three Stories)
7. In the Eyes of the World

Cool.  TFK deserve a post like this, such as Yes and Genesis had back in the day.

Disc 1:

Back In the World of Adventures:  13:37
I Am The Sun (both parts together instead of split up)  25:40
Pioneers of Aviation:  7:51
In the Eyes of the World:  10:38
Retropolis by Night:  3:04
There is More to this World:  10:07
Go West Judas:  7:47

Disc 2

The Truth Will Set You Free:  31:00
My Cosmic Lover:  6:46
Monsters and Men:  21:21
Chicken Farmer Song:  5:10
Big Puzzle:  13:34

I agree entirely.  I'll have a long think about it, but I'd probably need to make it a 6-disc set!!

Ohhh, I never did answer this one.  I'll have to give it some thought.

I've had a think about this one, and here's a 2-disc set to die for:-

DISC ONE
Monsters And Men
World Of Adventures
Silent Inferno
Theme For A Hero
Sword Of God
Stardust We Are

DISC TWO
One More Time
Retropolis
Rumble Fish Twist
The Merrygoround
Drivers Seat
I Am The Sun (complete)

Every post I have read on this thread I have agreed with - until I read the next compilation Confused

It really is pretty well impossible to narrow down TFK to 2 disks. Apart from anything else, the list I choose today is certainly going to be a bit different tomorrow

So much great music....

Well done Roger! A album that would deserve 10 out of 10, no doubt!

Glad you included something from Rainmaker, Sword of God is really good!

Yes Pablo, I had just had to include one of TFK's "rockers".  I love 'em all as they really make a great contribution to the albums.  I decided to choose my favourite "rocker" which is the aforementioned Sword Of God.  I also really love their other rockers like Adam & Eve, Paradox Hotel and Turn To Stone (from the Sum Of No Evil bonus disc).
