Evening

I'm sitting here bored, at 9:43 PM Australian time (I don't know the technical name)

And I thought to myself...

"Hmm... FISH in a fight with PHIL COLLINS... Who would win?"

So I'm asking,
What would be your ultimate Prog rock band frontman battle, One on One, and why?

I picked FISH because he's 6"5 (Kind of a no brainer) and Phil Collins, as he has some badass biceps from years of drumming.

Thanks
-Joel G

Ian Anderson was my favorite frontman, with all that running around he used to do.  I think Phil Collins copied him lock, stock and barrel (though I could be wrong, of course.)

For sheer presence, I never saw anyone more impressive than Zappa, who could captivate an audience by standing completely still and glowering at them.

I know that doesn't answer the thread's question, but I'm not sure who FISH is, unless it's Chris Squire, and I'd rather not see Chris and Phil fight.  I'd much rather listen to them jam as a killer rhythm section instead.

Wrestling Time:

Andy Latimer and Richard Sinclair against Rogers Waters and David Gilmour.

They decide to play some songs from their bands better than fight and so audience can decide who will win. After Andy and Sinclair play, audience stand up and clap. Then, is the turn for Waters and Gilmour. They play and people sleep deeply....Camelīs  members win. Prog battle has finished.

Jejeje...

Roger has that lean sort of meanness that Gollum has.  I bet he fights nasty.  Dave has some arms on him, but I think his reactions are too slow and he's a bit soft.  My money's on the icy Waters underground.

Devin Townsend vs. Frank Zappa. And as much as I love Frank, I have a slight feeling that Devin would whoop him in a cagefight. However, Townsend vs. Mike Patton would be a pretty close one, I think. Both are terrifying.
