The 'MelloFest' (a celebration-festival of Mellotron-based music) obviously features some wonderful old and new progressive music. Organised by Nick Aude (author/musician) this is a 'classic' English-style approach to live quality music promotion.
Its an exciting 'keyboard players' gig (no drums on stage) where famous (and less famous) keyboard players play live snippets, or entire pieces, and talk about their music and the problems of keyboard kontraptions. (For details see the website at: www.mellofest.com).
How do progressive music fans feel about this approach to performing their music? Would you feel more involved by going along than if you just surfed about it?
