Seems there are problems with the front page, sends an error message, the forum works some times.

I had problems with the site all day yesterday... The Hendrix thread messed up my connection big time, and I had to avoid opening it for most of the day. Today, thank heavens, things seem to be going much better.

To me, it started at midday...

The forum, fortunately, is, so far, OK now.

Well, the entire site took an unexpected break a couple of hours ago. And has been struggling to get up ever since.

Some intensive googling leads me to believe that what we're experiencing here are the effects of various amounts of sloppy coding in Microsoft's coding on their server package. Encryption and security certificate issues in the SQL is the problem - and from the looks of it this may be the cause of the weird forum behaviour we've had in the past few months as well.

So - another case of an ironic "thank you" to Microsoft in this case it seems.

Perhaps a bit sarcastic as well.

Since you're in here looking Mandy - would you be interested in reviewing a recent addition to the database here?

Well, the forums just gave me a lot of trouble. The result? four of the same exact thread from me, a Collaborator. Now, how does that look? Unhappy

M@X has suspected some hacker interference in the database. I assume he has taken the server offline to isolate the problem and to prevent further incursions.
What?

Site in general and forum in particular seems to run a bit more smooth now than in the previous few months. Or is it just my imagination?
