Yes, Wieverfasteloovend, which is local dialect for "women's carnival", the day we have today. On this day women rule in Cologne; at 11:11 AM the Lord Mayor surrendered the keys of the city hall to a delegation of women, who then cut off his tie.

This video was shot at the central station; people will have had problems to reach their trains in time.

	Why not just elect a female mayor instead of making a whole condescending affair where they're like "OK, ladies, we'll let you do important stuff for 24 hours only! Make sure and clean the place before you go!"?
