best album by the most (in)famous avant-garde metal group Arcturus is largely remembered and well-praised for its catchy little piano bits. or is it keyboard? (what's the difference anyway.) whenever one of these tunes come up, a music lover won't be able to not pay attention, that's why you shouldn't put these tracks in your iPod while you're driving! You might be Car-crashed instead of Star-crossed, you might become the best example of a "collapsed" generation of car drivers, and the more "Kinetic" your car has the more "Radically" you will be "Cut". (is that what radical cut means?)

note that Star-crossed is strikingly similar to an Ensiferum tune. Is that what avant-garde projects do -- to make us believe we're running out of melodies?

I absolutely LOVE this album, brilliant from beginning to end!
Hard to choose as it's for me very much an album to listen to from start to finish uninterrupted and is to be enjoyed as an album. But my favourite take would probably be For To End yet Again with its multi-part and its gorgeous climatic ending.
The piano piece there is the one I like most as well.

Very good album, and some excellent keyboard parts, but my favourite isn't hard to choose, Star-crossed.
