Ok, the basic idea here was to identify the greatest Zappa album from each decade then to take the winners and pit them against each other in a final mind boggling, mustache twirling battle royal.
This is that battle! Each poll included both studio and live releases from each Zappa decade: "the 60s", "the 70s", "the 80s", "the 90s (including posthumous)", and "the 2000s (all posthumous)". Any excuse for more Zappa in the forums, I still say! Hot Rats took "the 60s", while "the 70s" went to the One Size Fits All, "the 80s" AND "the 90s" went to You Are What You Is and Läther respectively in stunning back to back run off elections, and in the lowest voted poll and run off Imaginary Diseases took our current decade. This time you will be asked to pass the final judgement. Hot Rats is clearly the favorite but perhaps a passionate post in support of one of the other candidates will sway the electorate. Who knows? I thank all of those who has voted in this little series and perhaps we will meet again soon on another Zappa themed poll, I'm sure it won't take me long to think up something.
